Room service is rude.

Posted Apr 23, 2018
I checked in late that night due to being at an event and the lady at the desk was very nice and gave me a late check out of 11:30 due to having to do stuff in the AM and not getting a lot of sleep. Between 8:30 and 11:30 room service tried to come into the room 5 different times. My husband politely told him that we had a late check out of 11:30 and didn't need anything and just want to sleep. I had the top lock on the door and that's a good thing because the third time I was asleep and he tried to come in, then about an hour later he just said "room service" didn't even knock and tried to walk in AGAIN. Note this was the same person every single time. I've stayed here a few different times and this last experience may have caused it to be the last time. On a side note the soap is great there. Haha

The carpet was torn up to the point the nails were visible and someone could get hurt. There was A lot of jumping stomping and yelling going on in the floor above, the hot tub by the front desk had way to much clorine in it, also there was a giant hornet in our room, just gross!!!

Nice hotel for the price

Posted Apr 20, 2018
Rooms were very big, water park with the slides closed at 10pm on a Saturday night which was a bummer, hot tub jets were not all working, beds were very firm and quite frankly uncomfortable. No housekeeping service while you are there. I would stay again but only if Waterpark fun is secondary to your Dells fun.

Not renovated

Posted Apr 16, 2018
On a positive we were able to check in a bit early. Before arriving I had asked if all rooms were renovated and was told yes. Our room was very outdated and in need of several updates. The bed was lopsided, the vanity was low, bathroom not very clean and extra blanket for sofa couch was covered in hair. We went to the water park and the splash pad and kiddie pool we're freezing cold. Only the hot tube was usable if you didn't want to freeze. Asked for a receipt at check out and the staff in the morning acted inconvenience for me asking.

Kitschy comfort

Posted Apr 14, 2018
Check in was not great, the staff did not really give good directions. Room was comfortable and clean, shower had great pressure. Ice bucket crazy tiny.

Nicely updated room but many problems otherwise

Posted Apr 9, 2018
Pros: Comfortable queen beds, kitchenette, price
Cons: Every negative thing noted in our experience
When I checked in (they were nice enough to get us checked in early), I asked if we'd have enough towels for five people and was told maintenance always makes sure there are enough for the number of guests. Strike one. No sheets in the room for the pullout sofa but left a blanket and pillow. Sofa had semen (probably) stains on the cushions, which were simply flipped over rather than wiped down. Disgusting mattress protector. Frame and mattress were terribly uncomfortable--squeaky and lumpy. Shower handle fell off in my hand; required a maintenance visit around 7:30 pm so all the kids could shower. The updated room was otherwise nice with dishes, a microwave, stovetop, mini fridge, and microwave. Comfortable queen beds with stains on the bedding. Expedia's site says $11.99 for a resort fee; we were charged $14.97. Expedia, Google and Polynesian site say the waterpark opens at 9 a.m. on Sunday, but it was actually noon. Checkout is 11 a.m.! The smaller pool area was open, so at least there was that, but we went for the waterpark. I noticed at least one pool had film so thick above the water line that you had to use a fingernail to scrape it off. I realize they're updating, but... Wish the kid area in the waterpark had slides more appealing to toddlers. It was party central there. Front desk did call the stompers above us (I think they were also playing loud music), but there were also the hall screamers and yellers... You get what you pay for. We'll spend more elsewhere.

You get what you pay for

Posted Apr 8, 2018
I paid 58 bucks last minute vacation for me and my kids. The room was very outdated. When I proceeded to check in they told me expedia overbooked them so they only had a king and a let out sofa which was an upgrade from two queens? They let out was very uncomfortable for my kids so we didnt get what we booked. Very disappointed...will not return.

Nice small waterpark

Posted Apr 8, 2018
I can’t believe they are even allowed to rent out the hotel room in the condition that it’s in. TV didn’t work, sink falling off the wall, bathroom tile peeling up. It was an “economy room” that I stayed in, so my expectations were not high to begin with, but I at least expect a working TV. Even the clock setting on the table didn’t work. Those are like $10 at Walmart. Why would you leave that setting there broken? I do feel that the room was clean, that’s my deal breaker. If I would have found bedbugs or felt that the room was dirty, I would not have tolerated the rest of the yuckiness. The waterpark was actually nice for my small children. Kiddie pool, couple water slides, neat lazy river. I personally would not ever stay at this hotel again, although I do believe they have renovated some of the rooms. I would not risk my hard earned money to be stuck in a room like that again.
