“Gaslight B&B was a beautiful, grand old house, full of quirky decor and friendly people. Great location and walkable to several good restaurant options.
Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the mattress was too soft for my stiff, old back!”
“We had a wonderful time at this hotel, even though we weren't there very long and were only in the hotel to sleep. We came to drop our kiddo off at college for the weekend. The hotel is beautiful, it's in a great location and the staff were PHENOMENAL! The only drawback, and it really wasn't that big of an issue... it was really noisy on Saturday night. Motorcycles and cars were loud. The GM has complained to the city, but not sure they can do much about it. I wear earplugs so it did not……

“Nice location near downtown. Beautiful park across the street, with walking access to the Mt Adams neighborhood which has some amazing dining options. Kids loved the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt like they genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay. ”

“Beautiful hotel in great location. Standard 2 queen room felt more roomy and airy than most hotel rooms. Beds are very comfortable. Staff were polite. Parking is pricey, but valet service was speedy even on what seemed to be a particularly busy weekend with several weddings, a football game and UC Parents weekend. Would definitely stay again. ”
“The room was very nice, the staff terrific, breakfast great. Parking next door was easy. The common areas needed some attention (carpets needed cleaned) I was disappointed that our towels didn't get changed or the bed straightened (I did not expect a sheet change). The street is busy and sometimes traffic makes it difficult to get to the curb and entrance. Overall we will come back.”
"We stayed for two nights from September 23 to September 25. It was raining and very cold during those days. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no hot water in the bathroom. We reported the issue on the first day, but no one responded, so we had to take cold showers. As a result, both of us caught a bad cold and completely lost our voices. On the second day, we tried turning the water to the hottest setting and letting it run for 10 minutes, but only got some lukewarm water. In such cold weather, it was still very uncomfortable to bathe.
When we checked out, I reported the problem again, but the front desk staff didn’t give me any response. This was truly terrible, I couldn’t even speak for those days because I lost my voice! This was supposed to be a trip we had been looking forward to, and I was also excited to stay at this hotel. But in the end, our trip to Cincinnati was completely ruined by the cold and the illness."
