“Beautiful home! The house is cozy and it is nice and cool in all rooms, even common areas which is not typical for homes by the beach. Ivonne was a great host and very responsive. She even met us at the house to show us around. The home was very clean and even had cleaning service daily. We were able to pre-order groceries which was nice to not have to do when we arrived. The only downfall, but not the biggest deal for us was the sargasso. But it’s everywhere in playa so not much anyone can do……

“Claudine was a very good host!Overall 4.75 starsGreat location, awesome view, white sandy beach, beautiful water. Playacar1 is a gated community with 24/7 security. We felt very secure, and the neighbor was quiet. It is a 15-minute walk to an upscale mall. Exiting the mall brings you to 5th Avenue! Maria, the housekeeper, does an excellent job keeping the place tidy and clean. The house is beginning to show its age. A lot of the metal objects are pitted from the salt air. The sliding doors……

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa Shalimar! The space is exactly as the description and pictures show. Three nicely equipped villa's around a giant, multi level pool with a swim up bar. Plenty of shallow space safe for younger children (the youngest member of our party was 3) and deeper areas for the stronger swimmers. Check in was breeze, despite some of our party arriving much later than expected. Richard (concierge) came back to check the entire group in at 11 pm when the last of our group……

“Our stay at Villa Turquesa was fabulous! We were a group of 8 (4 couples). There was ample room for the group; the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and everyone enjoyed their privacy. We spent most of our time outside, days around the pool on the first level, afternoons and evenings on the upper deck. We took full advantage of the concierge services offered by the house management. Andrea was incredible! Everything she arranged for us was perfect. She set up a trip to Tulum with an excellent……

The kitchen is well-appointed and had literally everything we needed for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, including more than enough plates, cups, wine glasses and silverware. The location is amazing! The pool overlooks the beach and ocean, which is right off the pool deck. The main downtown area is a short 10 minute walk away through a quiet and secure neighborhood. “Our family had a fantastic week at the Queen of Cozumel. We woke up to the most beautiful view from our bedroom that we just had to lay there and admire it for a while: a perfect white sand beach with cushy lounge chairs under palm trees looking out over every shade of blue in the Carribean. We had such a great time playing with our kids and grandkids in the sand, in the ocean, and in the pool.The sunset views from our dinner table on the upper deck will stick with us for a long while! “We loved our stay at Mi Casa del Mar. We did arrive a little early and couldn't find someone initially, but not too long later he found us. The property is exactly as pictured, the giant windows and the ocean view are breathtaking. We were there in November and the temperatures were perfect, there are fans in each room and a breeze off the ocean. It was a perfect location for us and 2 kids, though expect about a 5-10 minute walk in either direction for restaurants, the general store, or sandy……

"This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood."
