"Our room was on the 2nd floor and our first night there (Monday), there was loud traffic outside, power washing of the sidewalk across the street, and construction nearby fastening bolts to steel girders. That all went on way past midnight and led to a fitful sleep. Thankfully, it was quieter the second night. Things were generally clean and the room was a good size. Bed was fine. Location was very central. I was a little frustrated because I specifically was trying to book a hotel with breakfast included. This one came up and while it's technically true that breakfast is included, it's only for the premade grab-and-go bags. If you want to sit down, your breakfast voucher gives you a discounted flat rate on certain items. The French toast was worth it though: multiple pieces and lots of fresh strawberries."

"Great location — very convenient, close to everything, and walkable. However, the hotel itself was disappointing. The elevators had long wait times and were often inaccurate. The service, especially at the gift shop, was a terrible experience. The only exception was the gentleman at Starbucks, who was genuinely kind and attentive. Cleanliness was also below expectations, dust was visible throughout the room. For the price and reputation, I would think twice before booking again."

"In general, the hotel had what I needed. Beds that were comfortable and a bathroom. I chose this hotel on a budget and I think I got what I paid for. The bathroom is small and there are fewer amenities than many other American hotels (i.e. no coffee maker or microwave). The bar inside didn’t seem to be open for the stated hours but there is a nice bar next door (technically in the same building). We arrived later than expected and they gave away our room but had another room with twin beds to put us up in for the night and did give us a discount due to that. The bathroom was not stocked with enough towels for four people and the request for another towel wasn’t fulfilled until the following morning when housekeeping came through at 9am. The hotel is in a nice location close to Times Square but on a side street and not directly in the hustle and bustle but still walking distance. "
