“The property and host are amazing. Very kind and I felt right at home. However read the descriptions throughly, i had anticipated this to be more lodge/resort but it was glamping, totally my fault and its beautiful and was a wonderful stay as well.”

“This cabin was a lovely quiet relaxing place for myself and my husband on the way back through Whitehorse. It had everything we needed to cook a nice meal and relax inside or outside afterwards. We greatly enjoyed bird watching from the deck in the evening. The outhouse was the cleanest I've ever been in ! The owner was very easy and friendly to communicate with. “Wonderful place. Extremely comfortable bed and couch. Perfect kitchen for cooking meals. Quiet and able to completely relax here after a day of exploring the Whitehorse area. Owners have it well equipped with anything you could need. This was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend!!”

“Great communication with owner and the cabin was a fantastic place to soak in the mountain views and disconnect.Although we experienced chilly weather, the outdoor shower was part of the rustic charm.We were surprised at first, but actually loved the fact that outhouse had no door. Great views on the mountains!Just a heads up to other campers: although the cabin description indicates wifi access, the satellite dish is actually connected to another cabin, so your access is dependent on these……

“More precise amenity information. Very unique that the toilet was water efficient. (Outhouse) and we couldn't find the shower. That really saves a lot of water. Would have changed locations if we knew the only bed was up a boat ladder in a loft, very dangerous when you have to use the outdoor facility in the dark.”

“I stayed in the tiny house for 9 nights. It made the perfect base for my Yukon adventure. The accommodations are a step above camping - the tiny house itself was warm and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a compost toilet and outdoor, propane heated shower. For cooking there is an electric kettle and camping stove, and basic dish wear for 1-2 people. The location is very close to downtown, but I wouldn't say it's easy to walk downtown.”

“My wife and I snuck away to this little cabin tucked in the woods in hopes of losing ourselves in nature. Black Spruce did not disappoint. It was on the edge of town, perfect distance to be away from it all. There are three cabins but the way they are built detailed design and layout of the property offers lots of privacy and beautiful views from the "Green" Cabin We came at the beginning of the “fake Spring” and there was still ice and snow but the walkways were maintained well. “What an amazing experience we had in Whitehorse. From the activities to the people, it was absolutely amazing. Black Spruce - Red Door was the icing on the cake. From having snowshoes available for guests to the evening sauna the Black Spruce was the ideal setting. It was close to town and all our outdoor adventures. “This gem is located on the outskirts of Whitehorse, but close enough to be downtown within a 7 minute drive. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, with beautiful views from the large windows. The owner was awesome at checking in throughout my stay ensuring I had everything I needed! Highly recommend this place, and hope to be back soon on my next work trip! ”
