“While the location of the hotel is fantastic and its proximity to the beach is excellent, I noticed that the property seems quite old. Specifically, the rooms are in need of more maintenance and updating to improve the guest experience.”

It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate. All that and……

“Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax……

“SeaLoft is a good hotel right on the beach for a reasonable price point. Our room was not pristine (the shower and bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly) and our air conditioner was not working, so we had to spend one night very warm until the maintenance gentleman replaced the ac unit in the morning. There was also a long period of time where we confirmed no one was at the front desk after calling with no answer for about 20 minutes and then going down to try and speak with someone. We would……

“There was hair on the toilet”

“The scenery is nice, but there were nuisance calls in the middle of the night, and then the front desk knocked on our door, waking us up, asking if we needed tissue. Didn't sleep well.”
