“It is like going back in time!! The Hotel is a very interesting Landmark!! It is very peaceful!! The Hotel and landscaping is beautiful!! It is off the beaten path however, it is still a perfect location, especially with the ferry ⛴️ service right there!! Everything thing is wonderful regarding what you would want in your accommodation, especially, the staff and their passion for making your stay at the Whitehaven Hotel a memorable one 🌹🌹”

“The front desk staff were extremely rude from the moment we arrived. There was no greeting or welcoming attitude whatsoever. When I politely asked if it was okay to check in, the only response I received was, “Yeah, can I see your ID?” with no courtesy or professionalism. Once we got to our room, we realized the blackout blinds weren’t working, so at 6:00 AM the room was completely filled with bright sunlight. When we brought the issue to the front desk around 12:30 AM, the employee’s response……

“I was in town for a class reunion and when i arrived i checked in quickly and without issue , when i first went to the room i did a quick look around and put my things down and left out, however when i returned later that night and did a more through look around the first thing i noticed was a used dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door which now im skeptical about using the shower there , while sleeping about 2:30-3am swomeone opened my room door i popped up and they closed it quickly and……

“The room and bathroom floors were extremely dirty, and there was a terrible smell as soon as we walked into the room. People were smoking marijuana in the hallways, which made the experience even worse. The shower curtain was covered in mold, and the bed sheet had a tear in it. Given the overall condition of the room, it was very difficult to trust that the towels and bed linens had been properly cleaned. I do not recommend this place at all.”
