“Pros: close to train station and restaurants, great breakfast (semi-buffet), value for money Cons: room is a but dusty, and some rooms are located in between 2 floors so you need to climb a few steps with your luggage, rmb to send a note to the hotel if you carry heavy luggage to avoid such rooms.”

“This was a lovely place to stay for business. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food and drink were great. The only things that could be improved would be getting rid of the dirt and mould on the shower screen and bath edge and changing the shower/bath mixer for a better quality one to control the shower temperature without fluctuation. As the venue attracts a lot of working travellers why not offer an earlier breakfast at 0700 or even 0630. More people might take it up then.”

“Soundproof isn’t quiet good, especially on Saturday night when there were too many drunk ladies, they came back super late, very loud, also they tried to open my door, many times, 3am to 4am, I didn’t sleep at all.”

“Property was clean and spacious with good facilities, some basic food prep facilities included although I think some rooms include a kitchen. Easy check in and check out, good communication from Kirsty. Perfect for me on a local business trip. Would recommend and stay again. ”

“This is a nice hotel located on the out skirts of Newcastle. The rooms are of a good size and the hotel has a very nice bar with a large out door seating area, the bar is used for breakfast where a very good continental and cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very good but the parking is limited. ”

“Really convenient if you're travelling by train to Newcastle as it's only two minutes away from the station. Clean comfortable rooms in a really quite grand old building. Good breakfast on offer in the restaurant which is open all day. Good value hotel imo.”

“The room was small and cosy, ideal for my solo trip. Nice bathroom, the only little thing i didn’t like was the lack of bath mat for the bath which i find a bit inconvenient cos it could be slippery, but one of the staff members provided me one. The rest was very good, receptionist was really helpful and friendly. ”
