"Clean room. Courteous staff"

"The room did not have a table and chair to work on. Only a couch. Without a chair, it was difficult to watch TV, eat, or work. Reportedly, only one room had a table and a chair. For this money charged, this is outrageous. The bar was never open, no breakfast, and at night, there was a terrible ringing noise in the lobby. Which is why no one was around. The air conditioner fan would keep you awake, and better just turn it off. This is an old hotel that needs a major renovation or shut down."

"The continental breakfast was depleted by 9 o’clock when it was supposed to continue until 930. Food had to be brought back to the room to eat as there was only one small table in that area, no TV. There is also a spider on the floor of the room that was the size of a tarantula No extra blankets or pillows were available in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so old it still has springs in it. The check in was completed by a child. Very overpriced."

"Probably my worst hotel experience ever. Hotel is under complete renovation. Construction material and waste littered throughout the hotel. My room had been about 90% renovated, and in my opinion shouldn’t have been bookable. I’m really disappointed with Holiday Inn Express experience. Mostly upset that they didn’t disclose to would be customers that the hotel was under construction. I would not have stayed there had they disclosed this. Do not stay at this hotel until construction is completed."

"I had been here years ago and loved it. First, my room was listed as the last available. There were only 3 or 4 cabins occupied. It had not been remodeled and I paid $150 for what should be a $50 room. I didn’t see a gift shop. There was one years ago. The kitchen light did not work, the refrigerator was not on and smelled bad. There were burrs stuck in the throw rug and one stuck in my foot. The beds were not bad. Had the room not been listed as the last available, I would have waited til arrival and after seeing the place and avoided a ridiculous charge. Oh, I forgot to mention a window had been taken out and cemented over without painting inside the room. There was a huge American flag mostly covering the patch. Needless to say, I will not be back and do not recommend to anyone."

"The price is unbeatable, and the place overall is nice. However, the tiles in the bathroom all move or come up. So, when you get out of the shower it’s a little scary because the tile shifts. The sky deck is a really neat idea, but both me and my husband got down quickly because the whole thing shakes when you go up and the wood isn’t screwed into the bolts on the ground. The whole thing seemed like it would collapse any moment. Also the furniture up there is torn and you cannot even sit on the seats. The inside is nice and the whole place is cozy. But it was not very clean in the bathroom, and the extra pillow did not have a pillow case. The Tv also had no guide on how to use it and there was very few options with channels unless you wanted to pay money. "
