“This is a motel set up, so all doors are exterior doors. Watch out for bugs flying in at night. The location is very convenient to the McDonald observatory. After we were exhausted from the Star Party, it was nice to have the closest motel. Breakfast we the standard continent hotel breakfast. Bedroom seemed updated, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Bathroom needs an upgrade but the manager said they are planning to do that soon. Air conditioner needs to be cleaned and updated too.”

“Never saw any office staff - door was unlocked (as our email said) and all was clean and cute place. Coffee maker did not work but coffee shop was across the street.”

“We reserved the room after 5:00P on the same day we were going to stay there. The information said that I would be sent a key box code to retrieve the keys to the cottage since the office closes at 5:00. We arrived around 7:00. Nobody sent a code. Nobody answered the after-hours line, and nobody at Expedia could get a hold of the property contact. I left a message on the voice mail, but I couldn't just sit there outside the property waiting to see if anyone would respond. I was with my daughter……

“We were excited to stay at Hotel Paisano because of its history, amenities, and location, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. One of the primary reasons we selected this hotel was the on-site restaurant, only to discover upon arrival that it was closed for renovations. This information was not clearly communicated in advance. In addition, the elevator was out of service during our stay, creating an inconvenience, especially for guests with mobility concerns. “Weird issue on check in but the visit was very nice. Nice place nice little pool to do some of my water aerobics. They have some cool container rooms that look interesting.”

“Easy and friendly check in. Feels more like a hybrid fact/hotel hybrid. Rooms were clean and dining area/check in was clean. Wish this had more and hope the area around gets rebuilt to bring more dining options that complement the hotel. The service portion is there- very friendly. Hope century bar and grill or a breakfast location opens nearby.”
