Check in was wonderfully easy and then we proceeded to our room smelling of freshly laundered linen. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. But there was more. They were super friendly and helpful, and Sid cooked me a special breakfast for my birthday. Lovely home and accomodations. Sid and Elena were wonderful hosts and very informative about the area. We stayed to visit the parks and McDonald Observatory. It was very close driving to and from the McDonald Observatory. The area rolls up the sidewalk pretty early. Make sure you bring food, snacks, beverages for any planned activities. The air conditioning was very good. It is definitely a clean, well maintained place. The staff were excellent and the breakfasts were delicious.
