“Having stayed a few times over the years we knew what to expect . As usual all the staff were helpful and cheerful. However we stayed in room 6 overnight on a very hot day and night so the room was very uncomfortably hot and made sleeping a problem. We did notice there was an air conditioning unit in the ceiling which was not operating and there was no way to control it. “We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done...

“Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. ”

“My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb.”
