“We had a great time at Rose Cottage. Perfect for a long weekend. Generally very clean but lots of dog hairs on the floor. Heating was very responsive, kitchen well equipped. Could do with a drying rack for the draining board and some tumbler sized glasses. Lovely soft towels and bedding, great shower. Best fish and chips ever from Robinsons over the road. Parking a bit tricky at times but all in all a lovely time!”

“This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. “The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city……
