Had a great stay, comfy beds, balcony view overlooking the geo thermal swimming pool was great. Helpful staff and spa was great. Good location to the local attractions. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend.

Really comfortable room in a well-appointed boutique hotel. Staff were friendly. Hotel and grounds were maintained to a high standard. Food was excellent!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was beautiful and we especially loved being right beside the river. The town was lovely and very walkable.

A really lovely place to stay. Was spotless and the stay was very comfortable.The only thing that i can fault was there are hidden charges. We visited Matlock to see the original family farm from and ancestral home of my immigrant ancestors. We hired a taxi with a driver who knew the area well to take us around the countryside. Would highly recommend Fox taxi service.
Matlock Bath is a summer resort town, with a lot of activities geared towards children. Its more sedate in the fall/winter. Bakewell which is nearby is much more bustling year round.
