This hotel in a quiet location, some way away from Bangkok’s main points of interest and I understand that this is a concern for some, but rest assured that there is easy access to public transportation whether by the hotel’s free shuttle services (Jimmy is a nice touch!) to the BTS; by cabs, or by an easy walk. The upscale malls Emporium and Emquartier (where the shuttle drops you off) offer well-curated shopping and dining options.
Check-in was handled quickly and efficiently by Jazzy, who was only too happy to answer our questions.
The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are big, well-laid-out, and the views from the room are killer. Speaking of views, the ones from the rooftop pool are to die for; it’s easy to forget what a thrumming and buzzy city Bangkok is from that vantage point, because the vibe is so just so chill. The drinks from the bar are great, too!
We stayed in the suites, and breakfast at the Leonowens Club was amazing; I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. While not a sprawling buffet (and in Bangkok, these are aplenty), the hotel’s breakfast offering was delicious, freshly-prepared, and customizable to your preference! Afternoon tea and pre-dinner cocktails were a similar high standard. A special mention to the pastry team cause the sweets were always so delectable, of course, thank you, Bun for the lovely concoctions!
Definitely a great stay and a hotel that is unreservedly recommended!
