Service was amazing from front line recep, Ms Dewi. So friendly, bubbly and helpful. The hotel is at a back lane, but pretty near to both shopping malls; BSC and Grand Batam Mall.
Beddings in the room are pretty comfy (for me).
The checkin was prompt & efficient, front desk staff are friendly & helpful.
The location is close to local eateries & malls are within walking distance. Only 20 minutes by taxi to Batam Center Ferry.
Overall was good. Front desk office Miss Dewi kind and helpful.

Overall, the location of this hotel is very convenient to the mall and market. The room is very clean and comfortable but the room is assigned to us that the window is block by the adjacant building. Worst that noise was generated throughout the night, think from should be air con compressors. Please avoid staying at room 106. Thanks!
Room cleanliness and amenities, staff service and location were good. Water temperature couldnt stay got or cold for long, ofte too hot or too cold but was okay, haha. Room was spacious and bright. A stone's throw to local food in the vicinity, as well as BCS Shopping Mall.
Great location for a weekend escape for food and shopping , staffs are friendly , room is clean and comfort also................overall good choice if you need to escape for foodies and shopping the location is great.
When booking is city view . When staying in the room that no city view.

All else is great except for the water heater in the shower which temperature isn’t constant - hot 1 minute, cold in the next. Room carpet is dirty, along with coakcroach sightings. But overall, the hotel was comfortable for our stay.
The hotel is surrounded with food stalls - Chinese n Halal food. Traffic flow along the hotel is heavy causing noise. Breakfast has wide spread of dishes to use. Replenishment is fast by the staff. Cleanliness of carpet in the room is unclean. Overall facilities are ok. Mini bar has alcohol drinks (beer) offered in the room at a rate. There are karaoke rooms in the other wing.
Front desk staff did not ensure room is set as per the booking even after confirming during early check in. The other surprise n shocking encounter was that the housekeeping staff can enter the room to change from 2 single beds to double bed n adding extra bed when I am not in the room. I did emphasize to wait for my return as I left the hotel as my personal belongings are already in the room.

I booked for a double bed smoking room. Upon checked it, realised i was given a non smoking room. It was a twin beded room. Two beds joint together and the power switch in middle of the bed head. Its not comfortable at all. Bathroom blinds dropped when I tried to bring it down. First and last stay for me.

Poor Housekeeping. Cannot speak English.
Had a bad experience with hotel reception at check out. They insisted we took their towel. But even after checking our bags, they still couldn’t find anything. The situation was impossible to explain because out of all their staff, only 2 or 3 could speak English. Still delayed us for another 30min after checking our bags, and we could only leave because we had a ferry to catch.

Its my 3 booking with Hotel.com to stay at Batam City Hotel.Convenient location. Lots of nice food at A2 food court which is about 3 mins walk from hotel. Beside food court is the Batam City shopping centre. Staff was vey good and helpful.Request for late check out as my friend was not feeling well and my ferry time is at 5pm.staff allow us to stay till 3pm to let her rest. Will definately go back again.

Love the location. Near to BCS, eateries, local market etc.
Staff from check-in to porters were all very helpful.
The oproblem is when taking a shower it turns hot and then to cold every 5 seconds
