This 3-bedroom guesthouse is found at the end of a long private driveway off a dead-end road shared with the main house that is sometimes occupied by owner about 100 yards away. Enjoy the warm fireplace, a generous kitchen, porch, outdoor BBQ and wooded trails. Take in the beauty of ponds, starry nights and miles of nature trails that wind through the forest, across meadows, by streams and along stone walls, affording you stunning views and the sounds of nature.

Great Catskills Family Getaway!

Fantastic experience
You just can't do justice to a house like that with pictures. Our whole group was very impressed and happy with how modern and tastefully done the whole property was. And the views are incredible. The moment we entered, we said to each other that we should extend (sadly, we didn't have our work computers on us, so that couldn't have worked out). Everything was impeccably clean, and Vicky, the host, provided very detailed (helpful, not overbearing) instructions and recommendations; we also communicated well, and Vicky was very accommodating. A trip to the creek made for a nice and picturesque little hike without having to drive. We only stayed 2 nights and got somewhat unlucky with the weather, but this place more than compensated for it - it's like a full getaway in itself. We hope to come back sometime!

Beautiful property
My family and I came to Woodstock to celebrate my wife's birthday. This property was the perfect place to stay and was an easy drive to all the places we were planning to go to in the area. A beautiful, peaceful location with lots of room for us to spread out and unwind after a day of activities. The hosts could not have been more helpful. We will be back.

Great Location
Place was incredibly clean and spacious. Our family loved staying at this house and even though it rained on our trip, we enjoyed being in the house and spending quality time together. Restaurants near town are lovely and they’re only like 5 minutes away. Would definitely book here again with a larger group.

The property is stunning with mountain vistas, large expanses, and the sound of the stream passing below. The owners have thought of everything, and the house has excellent details. Every season would be a treat to stay here. I can't wait to come back.

we only had a few days at the property but it was really great. the home and property are beautiful and felt secluded. as others have mentioned the owners home is a short distance away but it was completely unobtrusive. we found great hiking on the property and nearby, would love to come back!

Bliss in Bearsville
This architectural gem was a first-rate place to stay. The house is modern, well-appointed, immaculately clean, cheerful. The kitchen was well-equipped and pleasant to work in. The beds were comfortable, the rooms airy. House was fun to hang out in and lovely to look at from outside. The only drag was the elaborate and very thorough lighting system, which took a Luddite like me a while to master, if I ever did. But that's a mere quibble. The location is exquisite: lots of sky and stunningly quiet, with virtually no extraneous noise. We were a little startled -- an hour after our arrival -- to discover a bear munching on windfall apples in the old orchard not 40 yards from our front door. He then climbed one of the trees and sat on a high-up branch to eat the fresher fruit. He never came back, though. We had regular visitors of deer and turkeys, but just the single visit by the bear. I was a little surprised to find host Daniel and Vicky's house so close to ours, but in fact the proximity was not at all intrusive. We virtually never saw Daniel and Vicky; yet they were very rerponsive to our queries and needs. They were gone most of the week and we truly had that hill top to ourselves. We loved staying here and we hope to come back.

This house was beautiful and spacious. The surrounding property is stunning - deer frolic in the yard while you’re having breakfast. It’s about 10 minutes from the town center and very convenient. Our favorite place we have stayed in so far.

Lovely setting! Close to everything but still serene and private.
The guest house looked exactly as pictured with a meadow out front and a forest/creek out back. The bathrooms & kitchen were well done with high-end appliances. It was very clean and well maintained. We saw turkeys and deer every day adding to the serenity of the setting. My husband loved sitting out on the covered deck enjoying the forest view.

Perfect Woodstock Getaway
My family and I spent two days here to split up the drive from NH to PA. None of us had ever been to Woodstock before, so we wanted to explore the town, and also attend a show at Levon Helm Studios. We were not disappointed! We really enjoyed Woodstock! It’s a great town and the food was excellent! As far as accommodations go, we loved the house and also exploring the property! It was close to town but far enough away to feel like you were deep in the mountains. We especially loved seeing the deer graze on the lawn in the evenings, and the ping pong table was an added bonus. My kids loved it! Thanks for hosting us!

Great natural setting, close to Woodstock center
The location was perfect for my family. We felt surrounded by nature, able to unplug and relax. Yet we were still within a short drive of good restaurants and the chill vibe of Woodstock when we wanted. The house was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We had a great stay!

Even better than the photos!
This is the most beautiful, peaceful place our family has rented. We watched a family of turkeys descend from their roosting place one morning, and slowly make their way into the woods. Saw a family of deer every day, fawns cavorting around the apple trees. Great outdoor space for energetic kids to run around, and plenty for adults to sit and chat while enjoying the scenery. Indoor space ideal for a group; open kitchen downstairs with tons of natural light, large game/ media room upstairs with access to a covered deck! This house was immaculate & comfortable. Our barista daughter took full advantage of the amazing coffee set up! We would highly recommend this lovely house, and appreciate the clear & prompt communication with our hosts. Daniel & Vicky are gracious & accommodating, thank you!

Waterhole not to be missed!
We had such a lovely stay! At the last minute our vacations plans changed and we we hoping to save the week. Vicky and Daniel were extremely responsive, friendly, the house was spacious and clean - even though we were a family of four, the house in fact felt like the absolute perfect place for a large family gathering. The views of misty mountains and sounds of the creek from the balcony were just so relaxing. The walking and hiking trails on the property were easy to find and the swimming hole and creek were serene and the perfect spot at the end of a hot day. Our almost 4yo and 5yo loved it! Woodstock is five minutes drive and the Bearsville Theater with three restaurants and an ice cream parlor barely a minutes drive. Lovely stay overall! Thank you Vicky and Daniel!
