"Absolutely loved this place! The house was exactly as pictured, except even cuter in person. The kitchen was the perfect place to cook while having our family all in one big space. The house is thoughtfully decorated but also stocked well with almost anything we could have needed, and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. We had 13 people in our group, between our teen and adult children, their plus ones and our dogs. We cooked, hung out, spent time indoors when it rained on day 2, and had a wonderful time enjoying everything the yard and lakefront could offer us. The kids kayaked, used the paddle boards, and made fires in the fire pit on both nights. The yard and lakefront are not done justice by the photos. The yard is incredibly spacious, longer and wider than we anticipated and simply exceeded expectations in every way. The owner was extremely responsive, and answered all of our questions before the trip. 10/10 - Would absolutely stay there again."

"Had a wonderful stay at this property! It was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated on the inside, with a great view of the lake. My kids enjoyed sports in the expansive yard and campfires at night. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. I had forgotten a few critical things at home that I found available for our use. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone needing a peaceful getaway! "

"Amanda and Keyu were so nice and accommodating. It was an older building and in some ways it was like going back in time. Don’t expect a perfect modern feel. However do look forward to a really cool experience. It is an 1800’s era hotel that is kept very original. We hosted the wedding party for my daughter’s wedding there on short notice. They opened up the bar and made us feel right at home. The place is under new ownership and they are working diligently to make it something that is even more enjoyable! I think we will go back just to hang out there and see them again. "

"Quiet comfortable "

"The relaxing evenings were nice by the firepit. Neighbor extremely quiet. Home had every kitchen appliance and utensil to cook, plus spices were provided. Plenty of towels available for the swimming. The township of Fox Lake had a wonderful public children's water park only a couple miles away. Bathrooms were stocked in case you forgot anything. Kathy was absolutely wonderful allowing for friends to come over for a birthday party for our granddaughter."
