The room was extremely clean. The heat/ac worked perfectly. Very quaint. Just what you need to get a good rest. Not extravagant but just right! Very satisfied and would stay again! Staff was friendly and courteous .

Price was right

I have to say the price was right for an overnight stay. But kinda of a dive. Bedding was clean. Pillows flat and hard. The shower was recently redone and clean. Manager was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved my stay at this local hotel! It was incredibly peaceful—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooms were spotless and so cozy, and the entire place had a charming, welcoming vibe. The staff were all genuinely kind and helpful, making me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in town!

Don't let the one star rating and appearance fool you. On a Saturday for 47 bucks it was quiet, and peaceful. Grew up in Cadillac and compared to other hotels in the area this is just as good. Bathroom and shower were nice, the owner was nice. All around not a bad stay.

Better than the back seat of the car. Scary neighborhood and both the lobby and the room smelled like mildew. The outside of the building looked terrible, the room was clean enough to stay in but we were glad to get up and leave in the morning.

The office staff was nice. The hotel itself was ok. The rooms were small but drafty and don’t hold heat very well in the winter. The beds were ok. But the room needs some major updating and also more insulation in the walls to retain heat. But for the price and what I needed it met expectations.

A lot better than what I imagined actually. Read some reviews from others and I feel like they were bs'ing. Room was clean, beds were clean, sheets and be all. Bathroom was clean. I mean for the price I was highly satisfied. Only downfall was the air conditioner didn't work, but that was okay because it was nice and cool outside. Overall 4.7/5. I'd go back.

Not great.

The place was home to many monthly tennants. Who to be fait were friendly. While I do not begrudge soneone in need of lodging, or the owner making money, it really doesnt lend to what a motel should be. Room was in big need of refresh, as was the lobby. Very old furniture. Tiny roigh bathroom. Air conditioner full of lint and dust. Also found out I paid more on hotels.com then if I just went to hotel directly. Location was very good Close to trail by lake and restaurants. It served the purpose however will not likely be back.

Not what was expected

I was not expecting anything spectacular but when I pulled in off the road I was certain I had made a grave mistake. The property is not overly welcoming looking and definitely needs a lot of TLC. With my reservation, the check-in process was very easy. I was relieved I had the room right next to the office as I was traveling alone. The door to my room did not give me a lot of confidence in my safety. The room appeared very clean but in need of a make over. There was not a ‘do not disturb’ sign to be able to put outside the door. No coffee maker. The desk/dresser area was very cluttered with cables and cords. The bathroom was incredibly small and the shower head was so low I had to bend down to wet my hair. The 5am morning time was very noisy. I’m not certain what was happening outside but it seemed someone was having a morning smoke and just being generally noisy and annoying. Overall, I survived and had zero safety issues, even coming in after dark. The room was comfortable for what I needed. The shower was warm and refreshing. I had extremely limited staff interaction as I did not see anyone other than check-in and one other time when I asked for them to not enter my room to tidy things up.
