“I love this little gem of a pub and have been staying here for at least the past 15 years whenever I am in the area for regular work. Andy and Adele make a great team with delicious food, a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails etc and a lovely fire to keep us all cosy and warm, oh and the fish pie was really delicious! 😋”

“ It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.”

“I thought the breakfast was fine. Lots of options for a full or light meal. I had fruit & porridge which was delicious. Husband said his fruit, yogurt and toast was fine. Choices of teas, coffees etc. Others appeared to be enjoying theirs as well. Eating and food area spotless as was the hotel overall. We have not stayed there before but will do so next time we travel. It was worth the money.”

“The apartment was perfect for my purposes. Everything I could have asked for. The only problem was that I didn’t receive any instructions to pick up the keys from hotels. com. Luckily the owner was there when I arrived. They were very helpful. I would highly recommend this for others.”

“Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. Great price for the convenience and facilities. Thank you ☺️ ”
