“Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Harborside and were allowed to use the pool at the Beach Club side which was great. Loved using the bikes for a ride around the area. Enjoyed waffles for breakfast at the Fish House restaurant on property. The queen room and bathroom were on the smaller side with only one sink. It was manageable for two (though very tight) but would not recommend a family of four stay there. There was light coming in from the top and bottom of the doorway so……

“It was a very nice and clean hotel. The bathroom could have been updated and a bit larger. No fan in the bathroom either. The concierge was perfect recommending places to visit. ”

“Very cool place to stay. Near waterfront and market. Friendly, helpful staff. As we were leaving, we mentioned that we were going to Folly Beach. We were told that they have a sister property in Folly Beach and that we could use their pool, beach, parking. We did that and they were so friendly and helpful at Tides too.”

“This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge.”

“Located in the heart of Charleston, the Mills House Hotel is a luxury hotel with all the ammeniteis. The courtyard has a beautiful fountain and large fireplace and we loved having drinks out here. It is also the outdoor dining section of one of the hotel restuarnts, Iron Rose, which we ate at several times and it was excellent. The pool area is lovely though a little small for the size tof the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the woman who took care of our room was a gem. They……

“Was surprisingly enjoyable stay. We chose this hotel for the low price, but were impressed with the room, free breakfast in the morning and free wine and cheese in the late afternoon. The only negative item was the mattress felt a couple of years past its lifespan.”
