“Easy access to shopping and restaurants.”

“The property was nice but the 40/night fee should juat be charged when you booked. Also they need a walkway to get to the pier next door. It is weird to have to get into a car for aomethinf 5 minutes away that is a touriat attraction. The ataff is beyond lovely and i hope everyone geta a raaie.”

“Very close to The College of Charleston, a great place to stay for attending orientation or graduations. Front faces King Street and a short walk over to Meeting St. You can still see the antique appearance of the hotel, very classic and elegant.”

“Room and amenities good. Loved the rooftop patio. Staff friendly. Wish it had been just a little closer to downtown, but on the bus line, so all worked out ok. ”

“This was our first time at the Ryder hotel. It was located very conveniently in downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly however, when we were by the pool, the service there was somewhat spotty. Often times staff would just ignore anyone who was sitting at a table and not offer them a drink. The pool was nice to have on a hot day however, it was very murky and cloudy looking. Not sure how often they check for chemical balance. Both my husband and I felt very itchy after being in the pool……

“I would rate this property higher if I could! Everyone there was fantastic, but I have to say that the manager Shutti, was the absolute best! We had a few mishaps when we first got to Charleston and she got us all cozy and comfy in a beautiful suite! Also, the shopping is incredible, not only in the hotel but the many stores on King Street! I will be going back! Great place for a girls trip! It’s what I’ve always dreamed Charleston would be like.”

“The property is GREAT...however, it took over 2 hours for the Expedia comms to reach the Vendue...so I was in limbo for dinner and had to come back to check in AFTER it took Expedia 2 hours to report my confirmation...??!!”

“This hotel was convenient to downtown Charleston. Clean rooms, decent price and breakfast. Enjoyed the location amongst the boat slips. Quick walk to California Dreaming for dinner. Will stay here again.”

“The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly. The outdoor pool was a plus. The pool had a bar and you could order food . You could walk to everything you want. I would stay there again. ”

“The Pinckney is a small hotel but it is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants also in walking distance to plenty of landmarks. The staff is willing to help in any way possible the complimentary breakfast is good. Our room was clean and cool and looked to be new renovated. ”
