Very cool historic hotel to stay in. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Looks brand new, staff very friendly and professional, spacious rooms with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, sink.

Close to main highways, shops & restaurants. Easy access & parking. Big dining area for continental breakfast. Several people came from out of town for a funeral, so we all sat in the lobby & visited by the fireplace on a big couch. They have an indoor saltwater pool, which is awesome for the kids. We had a double queen bed room, which was clean & spacious. Small microwave & refrigerator too. Bathroom was very clean & spacious as well. My brother had a king bed room, it had a "livingroom" area...

Everything was perfect and above standard.... staff, rooms, food, hotel!

It was great and they had the best breakfast. The scrambled eggs were so tasty, better than most restaurants. My kids loved the cinnamon rolls and sausage.

It was a wonderful hotel. Amazing breakfast. Eggs. Biscuits and gravy. Pancakes. Hotel staff was extremely nice. Cleaned our room everyday. Had black out curtains so the kids could nap during the day. Kids loved the pool. We will be staying there again!

Only stayed overnight for a wedding in the area, but could not have been more pleased with the experience. The room was large and really clean. Bathroom was also spacious and super clean as well. I arrived early for my check-in but they had my room available and I was able to grab a nap before the wedding. The bed was firm, but not uncomfortable. The most beautiful property in Marietta and surrounding areas. However if you have trouble walking up stairs, this hotel is not for you. About 40 stairs to get to room, but you'll get an amazing workout!!!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helped me take care of all my wedding guests accommodations.

The hotel was great, comfortable, clean, good breakfast, very nice helpful staff, and reasonably priced. It is a little dated and some of the furnishings like shower curtains and bedroom curtains could be replaced but it didn't detract from the overall experience. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants and very easy access to the highway. It had a huge pool and an exercise room as well as snack machines and other amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I love historic hotels, and the Lafayette is over 100 years old. We had a king parlor suite on the 5th. floor with river view. It was very quiet and peaceful. We had drinks on the rooftop patio while watching barges and river boats travel back and forth on the Ohio River. We had supper in the bar which was outstanding.
