We spent much of our time on the river and the fire pit at the edge of the river was wonderful. Comfortable home with everything you need. It was great to have shopping amenities 8 minutes away. “This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. Great property for snowshoeing……

“Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy.”

“We had to postpone our trip due to a COVID case, and the owner was extremely helpful and flexible with helping us get rebooked. We also had some questions throughout the stay and communication was always prompt and friendly. The itself property was very clean, cozy, and well heated (we went in November). A wonderful location, tucked away on a quiet lake but only about 10 minutes away from all the essentials (key because the water cannot be consumed). Would strongly recommend for any time of……

The cottage has everything you need and a town is just a few minutes away if you need groceries or do not feel like cooking :) This place is dog friendly and there is plenty of room for them to play and swim. “We really loved this place. It’s an old house with plenty of character. We were impressed with the hot water on demand and wall air conditioner/heating unit…and unlike many other places we’ve stayed, it was quiet! The house itself is on a fairly busy road, which we are not used to. We just made sure we had ear plugs to deal with the traffic (something you probably would never notice if the city is your home. It’s well within strolling distance to the downtown area (enjoyed the Farmer’s Market……
