“The room was comfortable for an overnight stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. A good breakfast was available for purchase.”

“It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace.”

“A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.”

“Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall.”

“The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. “The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. My second issue was there was no chair or desk in the room. I didn’t care that the tv only had 4 channels- all the other……

“The George is a really cute historic inn that is situated in a quiet, magical little village - it is literally right across the street from the ruin of a Norman castle. While you need to leave town to get to Frome or Bath, the bus stop is located right outside the inn. It has a friendly little pub that serves good food and is frequented by guests and locals. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean. There is no air conditioning but we had a fan which was adequate. It felt……

“We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.”

“very close to the Bristol airport, very convenient if you arrive late night no reception or staff there to server (but it is very OK, so price is cheaper than others), just arrive and you can get into your room, nice decor new room, suggest to install a shower curtain because the water makes the toilet all wet (beware of the goat, haha)”
