Beautiful hotel in the city centre of Bath steps away from many local points of interest including the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Also in walking distance you’ll find picturesque views of the Crescent and the Royal Victoria Park. The hotel had an excellent spa that included one large pool and two smaller ones. We visited during warm weather and upon arrival noticed the air con in our room was not working and were promptly moved to another available room after declining the use of standing fan. The staff provided great recommendations on places to see and dine. It’s worth mentioning we chose to book this hotel based on the onsite parking, however, the car park is a couple blocks away. This was not an inconvenience to us and hotel staff offered to drive our car and assist with luggage. Definitely would return again.

An absolutely delightful hotel, small, detail orientated, centrally located and very stylish. Nothing was too much trouble and they even have private parking which is incredible considering their prime location. Highly recommend this charming destination. Many thanks to the superb staff!

First rate hotel with a unique experience in being able to enjoy the “waters” of Bath within the hotel. Very conveniently located. The air conditioning in the room did not sufficiently cool the room on the 22C days we were there, but the windows opened, which helped.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!
