“We stayed here whilst working away, the lodge was on a lovely quiet site, well kept and clean. It was nice to return to each evening after work, a home from home. Thank you, we will return if available the next time we are up!”

“Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again.”

“Room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the shower was only a trickle of water, and breakfast looked a bit sad. Staff was not particularly welcoming or enthusiastic.”

“Just step away from the airport. Room is clean and the facilities are fit. Noise from plane is not at all. Room temperature is comfortable in the early winter. Great place to stay for early flight or late arrival.”

“Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website.”

“Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful.”
