"If you want to be in a great location in Edinburgh, this is it. We had four families. Including 7 children. They loved the pool and being right in the Grassmarket under the Castle, near Victoria Street, the fabulous Museum of Scotland and Greyfriars Kirk. Staff were so professional and kind. We were there during a heat wave, and missed air conditioning, but got by with the fans. Definitely recommend!"

"We stayed here for three nights in July 2026. We were well received by the front desk, everyone was very friendly. The location was spectacular- right in the center of the royal mile, with truly breathtaking views. The room was spacious, but you could tell the hotel hadn’t been renovated recently and some furniture was a bit worn. All in all, we were happy with our stay here."

"Nice clean room. View of both road bridges from our window. Room was made up next day without having to request it. The restaurant menu had a good selection & the views were amazing. Bus stop outside for trips into Edinburgh (frequent service) or towns round about. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."
