“Good clean basic accommodation in a similar standard to P Inn or Travelodge. Free parking in a generously sized car park. Good (bus) public transport
connections directly outside for Dunfermline centre or connections to Halbeath P&R just 1.5miles up the road.”
“Property and room were really clean, well presented and exceeded our expectations. Free breakfast included which was decent enough.
What let it down… one was the shower, it was very old even though the bathroom was modern, it was barely a trickle and I really struggled to wash the shower gel off under it. Two… the window should have opened fully but our room 208 the catch wouldn’t release and the room was very warm & sleep was a bit uncomfortable due to this. Three… only 2 teabags in the room,……
“Stayed here for a wedding , the room we were given was dated , we struggled to even close the curtains the bed was awful , we hadn’t been given toilet roll , all in all not worth what was paid for the room and left as soon as possible in the morning”
“The staff were lovely on check-in. The room however was not as shown in the photos and requires maintenance. The door lock had been either changed or broken recently without being correctly repaired, I unfortunately dropped something under the bed so found all sorts of rubbish and food”
“Although the hotel itself was a tad old fashioned, (it was an old building after all) we loved our stay. Firstly the staff were absolutely amazing, very helpful, the gentleman that checked us in, perfect. He tried several attempts to organize a taxi for us, and we must give a big mention to Tracy, who was so lovely and eventually managed to get us get a taxi to our destination. The rooms were spotless, again staff so accommodating. The cooked breakfast was nice and hot, with most ingredients……
