“So comfortable for the 2 of us. Close to restaurants, shopping, liquor store and to family in Chesapeake Beach. The 2nd BR let us spread out suitcases and extras. Stocked kitchen and bath. Grill right out the door to the fenced back yard. Driveway to the door. All we needed and felt at home. ”

“Everything about this stay was amazing! Right from the get go the owner allowed us to get in early so I could take a work call which was amazing. The cottage is exceptionally well done for every comfort. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy morning coffee before walking to the end of the pier. Did I say the view is amazing and peaceful. The perfect get away from the every day stresses! If we had remembered water shoes we could have even used the kayak to explore. The location was perfect...

“The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

“The cottage had everything you could need for your stay. The home is beautiful, the yard/gardens are beautiful. Immaculately clean and comfortable. We traveled with our dog and house, and neighborhood is very pet friendly. It was a great few days!”

“We actually gave this to our son and daughter in law for their honeymoon. When they got there the owners had decorated the house with candles, balloons, goodies and a picture of them. They said everything was amazing and plan on going back for their first anniversary.”
