“Very friendly and helpful young man on reception… advised on parking and provided cups for a cup of tea when asked. He also showed us to our room and demonstrated how to use the air conditioning.”

“The narrow and steep stairs do not give a good impression but the rooms are clean and adequate. Helpful staff and a kitchen area make it a good base. Parking is on a one way street and limited between 09.30 & 16.30 but that wss not a problem for me. Convenience store in garage on opposite side of road.”

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is……

“This is an interesting old pub/hotel renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was superb.”

“The only thing we are not too satisfied is low water pressure which takes us longer time for showering. Apart from that, we are pleased with cleanliness, services and overall maintenance of the hotel. Breakfast is good with quick replenish of food and reasonable varieties . Air conditioning and bed are comfortable. If it is allowed, I would give 4.5 stars, instead of 4 stars”

“The room itself (superior room, 2 twin beds, non-smoking) was perfectly adequate, spacious, clean and comfortable (beds), good shower. Would have been perfect had it had a fridge to keep our drinks cool (particularly with the UK heatwaves we have currently) and maybe a few wine glasses would have been useful. However, when we checked in the man on reception was extremely unhelpful and dismissive, gave us no instructions at all regarding breakfast etc. so it was somewhat disappointing on first……

“We had a 1 night stay before catching the eurotunnel. Everything was brilliant, staff at check in as we arrived quite late, clean room, comfy bed and breakfast the next day. We also had our dog with us and they gave us a goody bag for her too!!”

“We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”
