Perfect spot on the sea front. Close to everything. We had dogs, room perfect and staff very friendly. Can walk to shops nearby lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful walk along the seafront.

Beautiful old building, with a slightly tired interior. We had a big, somewhat quirky, room with a nice view. The location, right across from the waterfront, was great. Not especially close to the train station, but still walkable (we did it). Breakfast was good.

The hotel was clean, bed super comfy and shower just right. The staff were also incredible in going above and beyond with their kindness and hospitality - especially the front of house staff (Ben and the lady who looked after the morning)

Great location, excellent staff, and very clean throughout. I also appreciated the secure luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which allowed us to make the most of our time in Folkestone. The only minor downside was the lack of a fridge in the Room Cosy Small, although larger rooms may have one and air conditioning would have been a welcome bonus, but it didn't affect our stay and everything was fine. Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations and I would happily return.

Leider in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Lage an der Seepromenade mit Blick auf das Meer. Nur 20km vom Fährterminal Dover entfernt. Parkmöglichkeiten vorm Haus eingeschränkt, allerdings günstiges Parkhaus in der Nähe. Hier Schliesszeiten beachten: 21:00-8:00 Uhr. Parkticket muss im voraus bezahlt werden.

It's all about the heat if it's warm outside it's very hot in bedroom and doesn't make any difference you sleep over covers still think it's one of the better hotels but could be so much better value on a plus note some staff go over and beyond they will know who they are so I hope it's just a little cooler in hotel next year it ain't designed for 10 nights probably 3 @ best.

It seems we were lucky to be in the smaller rooms on the top floor, as these were air conditioned! I can’t really say better than fine overall, which is in part because of the cost - for what it was, it didn’t feel like good value. The styling in the hotel is a bit off (eg. bar lighting too bright) and the communal areas to the rooms a bit shabby. It was fine for a two night stay, given the location is excellent.
