Broadstairs is nicest small town of 3 thanet towns. It is in the middle of margate and ramsgate. Yarrow is a hilltop very beautiful building in the eastkent college broadstairs campus. 7-8 min walk to beach. Building is very elegantly refurbished, elegantly simple and so friendly staff. Hotel is small but has a spa treatment center. Very Good bar and comfortable restaurant. I suggest During weekends if they do not close the kitchen at 9pm but at 10pm guests would enjoy more. Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.

The host Alex is a great all around person. He greeted me and walked the property with me. In addition, he provided me with great information about the Dover Castle and how to reach it. The castle is conveniently located a 20 minute uphill walk from the house. Another great convenient item is the Train station is an easy 20 minute walk through the city center. I highly recommend the Church Hill House. Also, Alex cooks a great breakfast.
