I wish all hotels were as pet friendly. The room was clean and had a bath as well as a shower which was lovely after an achy day. The only ‘irritation’ rather than fault was the charger point wasn’t next to the bed. The food is excellent - both vegetarian and vegan breakfasts were Scrummy and the chef kindly cooked sausages for my 3 hounds. It was slightly strange to have the bath tub in the bedroom, but it was nice to have both a bath and shower. The breakfast was fabulous. It was great to sit in the garden and have a pint. We didn't eat dinner there but we saw them stoke up the pizza oven for their home made pizzas. We did have a small problem with the hot water but it was fixed really quickly. I really liked the White Cliffs Hotel! hey have a very nice bar and restaurant on site. The rooms are comfortable, and have everything you need, with really nice shower gel and shampoo. Portion of friend breakfast could have done with being a bit bigger. Not a very warm welcome! All staff wearing casual clothes so didn't really know who to approach with queries! A mismatch of furniture in bar area and only one comfortable corner to seat but not good for eating bar food! One really surly staff member who really didn't want to serve us and never spoke as she cleared breakfast plates in garden! Poor atmosphere and small booked room was 'really' small! I could hear the guests in the room above me walking around from 6pm. The water pressure in the shower was very poor and the shower head was not high enought for me to stand under it.
