Very clean, large room with incredible view of the ocean. Very pleasant hotel staff. The room had all the amenities needed for multi-day stay.

Great location and has a parking space, main bedroom is very nice but second bedroom is more suitable for children than an adult couple. Kitchen and living room is nice and the host supplied coffee and tea. Thank you!

Really effective air conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Bathtub. Best possible location, on seafront, next to shops, station and castle.

Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.

Lovely place to stay if ever in Margate! Place is quite charming and has lots of Character. I'd highly recommend it and also would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Wincheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and the room was beautiful.

The host Alex is a great all around person. He greeted me and walked the property with me. In addition, he provided me with great information about the Dover Castle and how to reach it. The castle is conveniently located a 20 minute uphill walk from the house. Another great convenient item is the Train station is an easy 20 minute walk through the city center. I highly recommend the Church Hill House. Also, Alex cooks a great breakfast.

We came to Margate to escape a heat wave in London, so the air con was much appreciated! Beyond that, we loved the luxe bed and bedding, the updated bathroom with gorgeous shower, and the drapes which allowed us to keep out the heat. Location is perfect, in the midst of Old Town yet no traffic passing by and very quiet st night! Overall, a perfect place to stay in Margate.

This is a wonderful hotel under new ownership. The owner was very welcoming and served a superb breakfast. Highly recommended!

The staff is utterly amazing! Everyone is wonderful, helpful and the food is terrific. If I ever go to England again I would stay without any reservation! American friendly despite it President!

Lovely charming hotel! Well designed, laid back but with sophistication. My room had a street view not ocean view but my morning bed was filled with sunshine. ☀️
