“There were 8 of us. The house is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths we were able to spread out and have our own space. Mariella, the owner, was extremely helpful every time we had questions. She even took the time to put fresh cut flowers on the table and entryway! Such a thoughtful touch! The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the waterfall. We walked around the lake……

“Location was excellent. In walking distance to to Frazier St restaurants/shopping. House was comfortable. Cleanliness could be better. Baseboards and ceiling corners were dusty and had webs. BF and daughter complained about the beds too soft but I didn't have a problem.”

“The Stinson Suite apartment was very comfortable, well decorated and well supplied with useful kitchen and bath items. The bed linens and towels were luxurious. This was my second time to stay at the Bear House and I would try to stay there again if I am in Chattanooga in the future.”

“For a mini family reunion, we stayed in the "Indiana Jones" themed suite - and WOW it was so amazing! Loved solving the puzzles and looking at all the collectables. Beds were comfy and it was a peaceful visit. Kristi (the host) was so responsive and helpful. Just wish it was closer to downtown to walk to the shops (why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for location). Overall - we want to come back and experience some of the other themed suites!”

“Charming cozy little treehouse with adorable shabby-chic decor. Bed is very comfortable. Great wifi and a large TV with access to all apps. It has a full size fridge, a 4 burner stove and oven (not that we cooked). Great lighting throughout. The bathroom is well-appointed. The kitchen sink is the bathroom sink as well. The spiral staircase to the bed and loft is not for the faint of heart and the rope "railing" made me insecure. You must park your car at the top of a small hill and carry your……

“Best vacation we have had in a long time. Very roomy and so clean! Very comfortable furniture and beds.”

“This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs……

“We loved the view from the balcony. It was a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Comfortable accommodations and everything we needed to cook a few meals at the condo. Very clean and we felt safe. Neighbors were nice and it was quiet at night. The only negative was the parking lot is a little steep, BUT that is a minor negative.The location is close to Walmart and all local attractions, as well. We loved our stay and so did our kids.”

“We had a wonderful long weekend in this spacious condo..We visit this city frequently and this was one of the best locations we have stayed in terms of proximity/accessibility to restaurants, riverfront, etc. It was very nice, clean condo and the layout was very relaxing. Brad was very accommodating and extremely responsive. The only down side was the late night traffic from the road outside, if you are a light sleeper you might want to have your white noise on. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay,”
