“Good family room. Excellent shower as this room has been updated. Perhaps it is time to update decor in the hotel rooms as it felt like we were stepping back into the 1980s. However, for the price it was a good. The size room with everything you could need. Quiet room but could do with a fan or a/c”

“I hope im not offending here but its an old building and in the middle of nowhere . In that respect , everything is fantastic. The owner couldnt do enough for me and Id definately stay here again.”

“There was no staff. We did not see a single person during our stay. Everything was key coded. Parking was good. Room was clean. “Breakfast” was stale as it was pre-packaged food left on the bed upon arrival.”

“On arrival you are confronted with building work around the main entrance and a very tired looking reception. (July 2026) The rooms are basic relatively clean but bathroom in our room was tiny. If you have long legs you will never be able to use the toilet comfortably because the shower cubicle is approximately 18 inches from the pan. The bathroom smells of damp and the toilet paper is thinner than Bronco. Only one charger plug socket by the desk nothing near the bed. We paid for a sea view……

“I have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints. It provides everything you may need for a short stay and has a breakfast every morning. It is also useful that there is free parking.”

“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”

“Gammelt hotel. Rent og nydeligt, men også en speciel atmosfære. Alt for dyrt til prisen. Den ene aften fik vi super aftensmad og dårlig morgenmad. Næste dag det modsatte. Stor forskel i service fra dag til dag. Hav tålmodighed når du bestiller mad”
