3BR Cottage with Gorgeous Sunsets, Private Beach and EV Charger

Charming waterfront cottage overlooking beautiful East Sound Bay and Crescent Beach. 3 bedrooms, sleeping six comfortably, with 1.5 bathrooms. An updated kitchen, dining room and living area with propane stove round out this comfortable and warm house. A beautiful deck with outdoor furniture and grill leads you to a path down a couple flights of steps to a lower deck and private beach access. Note that the beach is not accessible during high tide.
The house and its decks are perfect for morning coffees and viewing sunsets over the Turtleback Mountain Preserve. Phone service, wifi and Roku (so you can access your Netflix/Hulu/YouTube accounts) provided.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we want to let you know that our house is professionally cleaned and that our housekeeper is following cleaning guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We have multiple sets of bed linens and shower curtains, which will be swapped out and cleaned off-site after each visit.

Great stay.
We had a great stay at Emma + Ro’s place. The property is definitely on a beautiful setting. Communication with them went smoothly. The house absolutely has character and charm. It could use a little love when it comes to the cleaning. Windows had face (I am assuming a small human) and fingers prints all over them and there are cobwebs in pretty much every room. Overall things just looked a little dusty. These are not reasons to not stay as we didn’t feel like it affected our stay at all. Just things you notice. With that view of the ocean though, I mean cmon! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again! Thanks

Perfect vacation spot
The property is perfect for a vacation on Orcas Island. This was our second year for a week long family get together at the property and we will most likely return. View was fantastic, property quiet and relaxing, all needed amenities on site, harbor seals for viewing, we loved it again!

Well maintained and stocked property in a great location to many attractions. Home was clean and comfortable. Easy access to water with beautiful views of the east sound. Wonderful stay
We absolutely loved the view in this place. The house itself was a little bit older but very clean and plenty of space for our family of 5. We loved exploring the small rocky beach during low tide and watching a harbor seal swim by a few times a day. We would LOVE to visit here again and stay at this house. Highly recommend!

Well worth the stay
This lovely cottage on the water reminded us so much of another place we loved in Rockaway Beach OR. It was cozy, comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We cooked gourmet meals and had everything we needed. A store comparable to Whole Foods was close by. We took a whale watching tour through Deer Harbor Whale Watching Tours. Thank you Emma and Ro ( I hope I got that right)

Cozy cottage with East Sound access
Cozy cottage on East Sound close to Orcas and Moran State Park, well equiped and comfortable, with stairs to the shore of East Sound. Nice patio and furniture. I failed to throughly read the instructions and missed seeing the dishwasher for the first half of the trip! It is to the immediate right of the fridge, behind a faux cabinet door. (It was a bit tight, and thought there wasn't anything behind it, but that is the dishwasher door! My bad...!)

Great Location
The location of this property was great. Quick drive to either side of town. The views were amazing. Our family loved walking along the private beach. We got very close to dozens of seals. This was our favorite part. The house itself needs a good deep cleaning. Saw several large dead spiders/webs, the vents all need to be cleaned in the bathrooms & many corners were dusty. The washer had black mold so we had to clean that before using it. All facilities worked & met our needs. The rooms were set up differently than the photos & the poster bed is not the same as in photos. We had to move from the master to the room closest to the road because you can hear every thing from downstairs which doesn’t do well with a sleeping baby. The floor is the ceiling to the downstairs. There’s no buffer in between. The lounge chairs were not on the deck shown on the listing, just some old wooden ones. The house looks like it’s had lots of remodeling & is in great shape. Overall it met our needs & we enjoyed our time on Orcas Island.

The perfect island getaway
This is the perfect spot for a Pacific Northwest island getaway! It's super cozy with the fireplace and is well equipped for cooking, relaxing, watching movies or playing games. The location is perfect - right on the water for beautiful views and a short 3ish minute drive to town. Highly recommend for your next trip to the San Juans!

Lovely Little Spot
Property was as described. Gorgeous views. Comfortable beds. All the things stocked and on-hand you need for a comfortable stay. We purchased a few items (tea, honey, olive oil, spices, ziploc bags) that weren’t noted on the listing but were readily available for guests. There was a rogue lamp in the downstairs bedroom that turned on by itself in the middle of the night. Overall, we had a magical girls weekend surrounded by the sounds of nature and the bay. Incredibly relaxing… Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Cozy Snowy Orcas Winter Getaway
This is the second time we have stayed here, and have loved it both times! The house is quiet, cozy, but has plenty of space, and is super well-stocked. The view is outstanding-- from our deck we watched sea lions play daily! Emma and Ro could not have been more helpful when the islands all lost power. We discovered they had flashlights in every room and plenty of candles. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay at a wonderful property secluded enough for peace and relaxation but close enough to town and hikes if you want to get out and explore Orcas. Gorgeous views and everything else you’d need. Highly recommend!

Beautiful relaxing location
You can’t beat the location and views. It’s only 3 minutes from Eastsound and amenities but you’re still in a secluded environment. Reservations, checkin, etc were all easy and the hosts were accommodating. There are multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy and the house has the basics of what you need. There’s a little road noise but it didn’t distract from the overall experience. Daily we saw deer, seals, bald eagles, loons, a kingfisher and lots of other wildlife. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the house and island.

Very comfortable home with amazing, quiet Waterview
We had a lovely experience here in this beautiful, well stocked home. The beds were very comfortable, the space was warm, well thought out and offered a beautiful view. Emma and Ro Were especially helpful with our reservations, and helped with a family crisis. The stars at night from the deck are not to be believed! We hope to return again sometime soon

Another amazing stay

The long holiday weekend on Orcas was wonderful. Not only because of the fantastic view from our deck and comfortable accommodations in the cottage, but also the close proximity to town, whale watching tour, beach, and state parks. To top it off the property manager came over to help us with rental car trouble. Thanks to all!
