“Property a bit dated, there were bugs on the sofa and had german but no UK TV. Breakfast was adequate, sauaages / scrambled egg, ham , cheese, bread, croissants and fruit (tea coffee and juice. However I am Vegetarian and also Gluten Free so I had scrambled egg and cheese. They did offer GF bread but it was a still frozen bread roll so couldnt be toasted. It was 10 euro so it eas OK for what I needed and two plates of what is basically acheeae omelette with drinka made it worth the money but……

“The apartment had everything we needed. A Supermarket was very close. The car could not park in the street near the apartment but on a piece of ground close by; I could see the car from the sitting room window. We found it easy to get around, the road network was very good and stunning scenery. We stayed here whilst visiting friends who live close by so it was very handy. “It was a nice stay in Calpe. The Casa Sunrise has a perfect view towards the Ifach at the beach. What we did not know was, that the appartment complex did belong to a Hotel that closed some time ago. The appartment itself is nice, new renovated, clean and air conditioned (necessary in summer!!!). ”

“A parte de la ubicación tan buena, el apartamento era muy completo y la piscina muy amplia. Se agradece que todas las estancias den a la terraza (bien acondicionada con mesa amplia y tumbonas). No es primera línea pero como si lo fuera (es un 11 y se ve el mar) y con la comodidad de no haber ruido de zona de bares que si tiene la primera línea. Si volvemos a Calpe repetiríamos en este alojamiento sin duda.”

The location is right on the coast of a stony beach front, you'll need rock shoes to get into the sea. The communal swimming pool is very good, well kept, clean and a good size without being overly busy throughout the day. Be prepared to walk lots of hills and steps staying in this part of Calpe, however there is a coastal path walk which gets you into the centre……

“Pros: La chimenea Cons: NO me gustó para nada que nos cobrasen 30 euros por 2 noches de una mascota (un perro pequeño). Es algo que te dicen DESPUES DE RESERVAR. En la pagina de Holidu y en el proceso de reserva NO lo pone. Por tanto me siento ENGAÑADO y siento que NO se va de frente y jugando limpio. Le expliqué al Propietario y le enseñé lo que yo veo al reservar pero vamos no se puso en mi lugar en ningún momento. Asi que decepcionado”

"Friendly staff but facilities are a bit old and deteriorating. Most important thing is there was only one time of changing of beddings and towels no matter how long you staff there for unless you pay. In addition, having a washing machine in the apartment is a good idea for those long stay."
