“The property was easy to find and the entry instructions very clear which was helpful when arriving late at night. The property has everything you need to enjoy time at the beach and is also a great location for relaxing in the evening. There are shops walking distance if desired. “We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out……

“Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. “My husband and I were very comfortable at the condo. We loved being able to walk to the beach at the property or to Poipubeach as well. The pool and Cabana at the athletic club were a nice alternative. The condo was clean and had all that we needed. The only thing that we found lacking was a dresser to unpack our suitcases. We took advantage of the grill outside and enjoyed the lanai immensely. Thank you very much.”

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
