A word of caution that Google Maps first took us to the golf course which is one turn too soon. “We really enjoyed staying in this cute little studio. Absolutely loved the patio where we sat every morning drinking coffee and watching the surf, birds, and people jogging or walking by. Loved walking up to the local market for supplies. The pool was great and we could walk to the beach to snorkel and see all the beautiful fish or watch the surfers. Location was great too as we traveled in both directions around the island for hiking, kayaking, and shopping.”

“The property was easy to find and the entry instructions very clear which was helpful when arriving late at night. “Susan's place was awesome! Very true to pictures, kitchen had everything very nice dishes, pans everything you need! Such a great location, a beautiful and easy walk to the best beaches. “My husband and I were very comfortable at the condo. We loved being able to walk to the beach at the property or to Poipubeach as well. The pool and Cabana at the athletic club were a nice alternative. The condo was clean and had all that we needed. The only thing that we found lacking was a dresser to unpack our suitcases. We took advantage of the grill outside and enjoyed the lanai immensely. Thank you very much.”

“Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep. "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
