“Amazing place overall, it is just like the photos and the host was very responsive. Thank you.”

“The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals. The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable. All in all a great escape from CLT.We...

“Muy buena atención por el personal a cargo del hotel. Se podría mejorar en la variedad del desayuno”

“Buen servicio. El cuarto, limpio y cómodo y el desayuno delicioso”

“The Virginia Highlands hospitality is evident in every employee at this property. From the moment we checked in to checking out the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their community. We were immediately pointed in the right direction for good food, beer and music. The Breakfast was on par with the Hampton Inn Brand and the Breakfast room was immaculate. Hot tub was hot and our room was quiet. My only comment and this applies to many hotels; guests should be informed on booking that...

“Good”

“The property was ok, but not up to the standards mentioned in previous reviews. Rooms were again just ok. Beds were ok too, but creaked a lot, because the mattress was sitting on a weird base that always “groaned” when getting on or off the bed, or when turning over. Breakfast was decent, but the man staffing the office/lobby/breakfast room was not friendly—he was rude, condescending. His “treating customers with some respect” was non-existent. We will not be staying here in any future...

“Goob”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Only part that didn't look 100% clean was the hot tub. The water looked clean but there was a scum line around the inside by the water level. The pool didn't have a scum line at all. The hotel room was very clean. The breakfast was good and there were a lot of food options. We enjoyed our stay there.”

“Muy limpio y cómodo ”

“Muy bien, solo que en la reservación decía que incluía el desayuno pero era solo para una persona por habitación.”

“Terrible”

“Location very convenient from interstate. Everyone friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety.”

“The staff was helpful and check in and out was easy. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Enjoyed my stay as I was passing through”
