Perfect Fort Scott getaway
We loved Kylene’s place. Everything was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable, property was gorgeous, and hosts were kind and communicative. Couldn’t ask for more. We will be back!

Return Renters
This was our second stay. We travel for Christmas and we love to be able to visit family and still have space of our own. Being able to bring our furbabies with us is huge. The beautiful lake view is a bonus! We'll see you next Christmas time!

Nice place!
Everything was clean and we felt comfortable there. The only thing I wished for was a better view of the lake from the back of the house. We loved it nonetheless!

Wonderful place to get away from it all!
The property was well kept and had everything needed for our stay. It was wonderful to wake up to birds singing in the morning and be able to walk down to the lake. We appreciated it being close to town where we could easily get needed supplies and visit the historical sites in Fort Scott. The only regret I would have is not being able to see the lake from the house. Other than that we had a comfortable and restful time. Thank you for sharing your property.

Relaxing Getaway Spot
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend here. It was a a great place to just kick back and relax. The house was great, but the backyard with the covered patio, hot tub, firepit and secluded setting was my happy place. It was just a few minutes from town which was very convenient and we found several very nice parks with sidewalks to walk the dog since it had rained so much the day we arrived. The host were great to work with and always quick to answer emails and questions. I would definetly recommend.

Great lake retreat
This was a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing few days around Fort Scott and the lake. The patio was a perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy the hot tub, and some wine by the fire pit doesn't hurt either.

Great place!
We will be back. Loved the views, locals were very nice, the friendly dog's around the area were sweet as can be and nothing like relaxation in a hot tub when its 22 degrees out. Thanks again!

Beautiful home and beautiful scenery!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The views were beautiful, the setting peaceful and the hot tub perfect! The home and setting were even more beautiful than the pictures online. We loved our stay here and hope to someday go back.

It was a very relaxing stay! It’s a nice two bedroom two bathroom house the whole process was easy! The hot tube and fire pit were two very nice amenities that added to our relaxing time here!

Relaxing home with beautiful view.
When we arrived everything was ready for our visit. The location has a beautiful view of the lake and a wood lined property that gives you privacy. We found everything we needed to make our stay like we were at home. The host made us feel very welcome and was quick to respond when I had questions on the booking. We found Ft. Scott to be a very friendly and inviting place to visit. We have definitely put this on our "we would visit again" list.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It’s a very nice house. Hosts had everything you could have needed there ready for you. Even had chocolate covered strawberries and wine for us since we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the nice relaxing weekend that we were wanting.

We stayed for a couple of nights for a baseball tournament and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is so nice and the backyard is beautiful! It was really easy to get around from this location too. If we ever end up here again, this will be our go-to place.

I had a very restful stay at Serene Lake Home. The property is very clean with a lovely backyard, hot tub, and lakeside amenities. I will definitely check availability here for my next stay in Ft Scott and would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway on beautiful lake
Went for a 15 wedding anniversary getaway and it did not disappoint! Easy to get to, felt secluded yet you weren’t far from town. We particularly loved the hot tub and close fishing access! Very clean and well maintained with everything we needed there. Will definitely be recommending to friends and might be even come back with the whole family sometime!

Lovely secluded little house
Loved the property the house is secluded by tree lines from the neighbors on a small cove on the lake the backyard was great for clothing optional tanning, and we even got in some skinny-dipping at the lake.

We choose this listing because of the laje view, outdoor space, and pet friendliness. We would highly recommend it. Very clean, comfortable and well maintained. A few bonuses. Great shower pressure. :) Very friendly neighbor dog named Serene. Our pug enjoyed playing with her. We will be back!

A beautiful property. The open great room design with 2 beds and 2 baths makes this a great house for a getaway with family and friends. The sheltered patio is a plus for all weather. The hosts and the people in historic Fort Scott are helpful and welcoming. Fun trip!

Great getaway
This was a very easy process renting this house. The owner was easy to connect with via text with any questions. We loved the location as it feels secluded back in the trees. The house was clean, and everything functioned properly. It was super cute inside! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for more fun and relaxation!

Wonderful stay!
This was a great little getaway, located on a private property with an extremely quick walk to the lake, which is also a pretty private area. Very beautiful spot. Very nice house, great host communication, and plenty of hanging out areas outside. We'll be back for sure!

Loved it!
We loved our weekend stay here! The property is even better in person! You can see the lake from every room in the house, and you’re still within 15 minutes from town. Check in was very smooth and the beds are very comfy!
