“Everything about this stay was 5-star--great area, nice quaint place--except for 2 small points--the bedding, though did not smell dirty, had some hair on the sheets), and the cabin is considerably darker than the photo presents...very little natural light comes in. But those are simply FYIs for pickier travelers. I loved the place and would come back for sure.”

It was perfect, in a nice private area with a great view, great deck, and just the right amount of room for a few people to relax and enjoy the fall. “We found the kitchen to be very well equipped (although a few more forks would be nice). One could host Thanksgiving there easily. We found everything we needed at Hannafords or the farmers’ nearby. Such a beautiful view overlooking the lake, very peaceful. Loved seeing the loons. Would definitely come back if we’re up this way again. ”

“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. The cottage was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and an assortment of chairs and couches were available for lounging, viewing the……
