“Staff was lovely, check-in was easy”

“The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.”

The desk clerk at our check-in was clearly dealing with an uncooperative new computer system but was very professional and helpful. “This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event.”

“The location was convenient as we were traveling through the area. The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. We did have to “play” with the thermostat some before the room cooled down as it clearly had not been used in some time. Thankfully it worked and we slept well. The splash pad area looked like it would be nice for families with young children. Can’t speak to the breakfast as we slept through it since we checked in late. Staff were friendly.”

“My husband recently stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The bed and breakfast was exceptionally clean, quaint, and quiet, making it a nice place to relax and unwind. Parking was easy, with plenty of available street parking nearby. “The property has seen better days. The exterior doors are filthy and banged up. The room itself seemed to be clean but the bathroom is so dated it would hard to say. Breakfast was fine. The staff is nice and friendly. Don’t think I can say that I will be staying here again unless it is renovated.”

“Great staff. But, updates are definitely needed. No USB ports. Short staffed when it comes to housekeeping personnel. They need help. What I do like, is this Super 8’s location. Centrally located.”

All of this is true: 1. hair in the sink 2. balled up, filthy washcloths shoved into the AC unit 3. stains all over the walls 4. putrid cigarette smell 5. holes in the bathroom door 6. a live-in neighbor who banged on the wall and screamed the second I got in the room 7. a stinkbug infestation in the curtains and under the bedskirt 8. drunk live-in neighbors who chain-smoked I just left at 11:45pm and got another place.
