Hot breakfast was unavailable because of the mess also. Hot water in the shower took 15 minutes to get hot. Had I been aware if the construction, I would not have booked this hotel. Very accommodating and personable. Only downside of things were the toiletries and the lights didn’t work in my bathroom. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was ok - what you'd expect at the price point. Pillows were plentiful and soft. The capsule- shaped shower was very nice (already renovated?) and roomy with plenty of hot water. There are some negatives though: the bed is hard as a board and although the heating/cooling unit works great, if you like a cool room at night, you're going to be cold. The blanket is as thin as it gets and not warm, and the bedspead is more like a pretty shower curtain. The sheets are super soft though. Lastly, the towels will take a layer of skin off. Check for bathing essentials. We didnt have any shampoo.
