Great experience!

Great residential location - only a few (walkable) blocks to beaches, shops and restaurants. Recommend a car for better beaches (East Beach specifically) and grocery store purchases. House is a little dated but spacious and accommodated the family well. Had some trouble with gnats and water bugs throughout our stay, which was gross and unsettling, though owner was responsive to calls and management. Couldn't find the laundry room until our last day - in a different house, in basement, needed an unidentified key to get it - so would leave this information in the house for next guests. Liked Galveston overall, lovely place to visit in the spring.

The house is very nice. We found it to be comfortable and adequate for our needs. The biggest issues we had were thw cleanliness and one of the neighbors. We noticed the house on the left has boarded up windows and was in poor condition. We heard around the neighborhood that those residents will vandalize any cars parked in front of their property and they were unwell. We noticed on two separate occasions that they were eavesdropping on us through the fence and I think I saw someone get close to the fence to spy on us. When we arrived, there were things scattered all over the place and the parking passes were missing when we arrived. One of the owners had new ones delivered to us but the commication with her was not great. There are 3 BBQ grills on the property and ALL THREE WERE MOLDY. We had to clean the one with the least amount of mold to the best of our ability to use it for cooking. Bottom line is this place is not being inspected by the owners nor is it properly maintained. Additionally, I didn't recieve any information or instructions because that is supposed to show up on the Vrbo app. Since I booked through Orbitz, that trip didnt show up on Vrbo and I had to message Frederick to get the information we needed. Frederick was very nice and very commutative so that made everything easier. Unfortunately I will not be staying here again.

Great place

We thoroughly enjoyed the house. Since I am an allergy sufferer it was awesome to have air purifier there. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location near the seawall. Small difficulties with opening the front gate. Lack of soap in bathrooms.

Great weekend stay

We had a great Labor Day weekend in this home. The owner was very responsive! The rooms were spacious and we loved that there were 2 full bathrooms to accommodate all of us.

Clean and comfortable with character!

This was the perfect rental for our adult family of 5 and small dog. Very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the extra amenities that aren't usually included in rentals. It was an easy walk to the beach. Neighborhood was very quiet. We definitely recommend this property. As a bonus the owner went above and beyond and had housekeeping help us out to find and mail my son's lost wallet.

Great value

It was just my wife and I and are two poodles staying…..what a waste. This is a big Galveston house at a great in town location, at a great price, short walk to the beach, recently updated and great for your dogs. Highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Location is great if your looking to be close by seawall and strand. Parking is not ideal if multiple cars are being brought. You park on street and if you need additional parking, it's not that close. House is dog friendly which is okay but, when we arrived the living room was flea infested. They sprayed but they were still hanging around. Didn't feel comfortable hanging out in the living room. Notified owner of the fleas a 2nd time only to read a message of grr. No apologies.

Miller's stay

The house was good. We enjoyed staying at your place. The location was good it is close to stores and places to eat if you chose to eat out. Only one thing I would say and it is not a negative just a suggestion. Leave directios on how TV operates. Some people are not tech smart and need instructions. Our stay was enjoyable thanks for allowing us to stay at your place.

Perfect Bungalow

Location is just a couple of blocks from the sea wall with easy access to everything. The host was very responsive. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve had while staying in a rental. Exceptional stay!

We had a great time staying at this conveniently located house for our beach vacation. Our group had trouble with the lock code, and there was some confusion about the check out process but Frederick was responsive & really great with helping us out!

Great time!

We had a great time despite the weather! Our place was clean and perfect for our family trip. We did lots of fishing and eating. Unfortunately, we only spent part of a day at the beach. The weather was cloudy and cool, so we did lots of eating. The place was walking distance to many bars and restaurants, which was very nice. Didn’t have to worry about parking. We did enjoy a couple days on the Strand shopping. Our place was very nice. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well equipped. There was a grill on the back that we were able to use as well. If we ever get back to Galveston, we’d stay here again!
