"Front desk wasn't very helpful. Upon the arrival we made several calls to request various small things, and none of them was fulfilled, despite promise of "in 5 Minutes". Learned to help ourselves by ourselves. Looks like there is a shortage of cleaning maids. You can never tell at what time your room will be cleaned, or cleaned at all (at the beginning we had two days without service). On the positive side - the Junior Suite upgrade (Building 5), was totally worth the money. Large bedroom with a sitting/guest room, good and quiet ACs in each room, double large TV set, balcony with a stunning view - all for extra $30 per night. The food has significantly improved over the last visit (it was 2 years ago). The buffet food was good, and the two a-la-carte restaurants actually positively surprised with the quality and taste. Great scuba diving club with the friendly host Lily and the outstanding resident divemaster Vincenso. This is an excellent place for the beginner scuba divers, and great even for the pros. Saw a variety of rare sea animals including eagle rays and manatees (lamantin). Snorkelling is also outstanding with a lot of fish and other creatures. Positively, the place has improved a lot over the past two years"

"The room was clean and spacious with many amenities in the King Connect like kitchen, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry but some things are odd or broken. Like the laundry didnt have water turned on then we discovered the hot water hose leaked. The shower panel leaked a lot of water on the floor. They didn't have backup toilet paper in the room so easy to run out. The restaurant on the roof has beautiful view but don't eat dinner there - slow and poor food. Drinks and breakfast are OK. Overall it was a good location and good deal for the price. "

"Staff were incredible so this review is not on them. There has not been enough investment in amenities and systems in this resort. While we were there we had no working tv the entire time, our bathtub did not work, and we were not able to make reservations for restaurants until we arrived. This meant that we were not able to get reservations for several of the nights we were there. When we went to leave the resort we were told that in order to call an uber we would need to pay a taxi to take us to the front gate (which was over a mile from where the resort is on the property) and they couldn’t take us in the shuttle they have because it is against policy. It made us feel like we were trapped on the property. We normally like to explore nearby towns but this made it feel impossible so we didn’t get to see any of the surrounding areas"

"The Preferred Adult Only was 100% worth the extra money for couples. The hotel is beautiful, the staff at most restaurants very friendly and the food was good. Loved the small “food stands” along the beach for an unformal lunch. The room was clean, spacious and delicate."
