“Really enjoyed our stay at The Blue Jay! Will definitely stay here from now on. Really clean and rooms are nice. Beds were comfortable. Staff/owners were very personable and helpful.”

“It was close enough to the beach. We did not like the restaurants on Ocean Blvd.”

“Property and the room was outdated. The floor was uneven. The bathroom sink was pulling away from the wall. The balcony was okay and it had a good view of the ocean.”

“The only real selling point for this property is the location and the oceanfront balcony. There is no elevator, no pool, the rooms are small, the shower was the approximate size of a coffin and security is all but nonexistent …BUT you are just a few steps from the sand and the balcony view is amazing. If you are looking for upscale accommodations this definitely ain’t it but if you are looking for just a (hard) bed to sleep in it is very serviceable for that. I would stay again.”

“The AC stopped working at the second we get to the room, unfortunately I had to stay inside my car for the night. The beach view is really nice and the parking area too, the floor in the room wasn’t very clean but everything else was.”

“Red Stains on carpet, says quiet time is 7pm-9am yet riff raff were out in parking lot till 4 am jamming out partying… Showers were clean tho and towels and sheets were clean but bed spread also had stains. Given two key cards and only one worked, of course that’s the one we had grabbed when we went down to pool”

“Our stay was great. From the girls in the office to the guys in the snack shack everything was perfect. It was nice to have live music and cocktails outback. It was nice to hang out at the pool. Our room was comfortable and we could see the ocean. We’re highly satisfied.”

“Cozy, quaint hotel with real early American New England feel. Our room was at the far end from the Old Salt Restaurant so we didn't hear any noise from there. I have no idea if rooms closer to the Old Salt can hear anything from there or not. If I am ever staying in that part of New Hampshire again, I would happily stay at Lamie's again.”

“We were assigned a room on the first floor because we are handicapped. Although the hotel rooms are ALL nonsmoking, the room REEKED of cigarettes. We were then moved to a very acceptable room but it was on the second floor - with no elevator. The desk clerk helped to carry our luggage upstairs. All was well until check out, when we had to carry things downstairs. ”

“At check in the young man was kind and considerate. Im 84, have asthma, walk with a cane. My room had a nasty odor..rectified. TV didn't work..rectified.Not at all like preview. Paid $250 for 2 nights. Expected more.The relief clerk was very rude. My key didn't work. Rectified. I asked if there,was coffee. Told to go to Dunkin Donuts. Not nicely..rudely. Vending machines out of order. Hot and cold water machine broken and flowing over with water. Torn furniture. Extremely hot and musty. No……

“All around good place to stay”
