Last-minute hotel deals in Exeter

In July 2013 when someone recommended this B&B, I filed away the information for future use. Then a few months later in that fall of 2013, when I was looking 4 some rest and relaxation, we made our first reservation. Stayed at the Exeter Inn this past week for a quick trip to Maine and New Hampshire. Check in was a breeze and a surprise cookies and complimentary bottled water left in the room were a very nice surprise. Room was very clean, decor is very nice and there is a 24 gym downstairs (all with free towels and water). Parking was adequate (plenty of spaces however we were there on a weekday). Didn't get a chance to try their food but overall i would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking...

This establishment is the absolute best place I have ever stayed at during a vacation. Clean, quiet, convenient, the rooms were spectacular, and pool was fabulous. I will most certainly be returning soon! Thank You! :)

This is a beautiful old house, with real antiques everywhere. There are many details such as all day coffee and other hot drinks, complimentary sherry, and chocolates. The breakfast is substantial and the garden is lovely. All around a very nice place within 10 minute walk to center of town.

Cute little spot that is just across the bridge from the fun part of Portsmouth. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice for us, but if it was, you could certainly walk there. The room was well designed and my wife really appreciated how comfy the bed was.

Great staff, beautiful aesthetic and charming. We happened upon the Briar Barn looking for a quaint place to sleep for the night. This place was beyond our expectations and we are already planning another visit, with friends, to stay and see the sights of the area. We are New Yorkers and were so impressed by they service, the cleanliness, the vibe, the amenities and the space. We will come back and recommend to others.

Good place to stay… just be careful with GPS taking you out of there, sometimes take you to some very bad dirty Road.

The Surf House is very clean and tidy. Pool was great, mattresses were amazing and checking in was a breeze. They were able to accommodate a couple of last minute requests without issue. The staff, especially Hannah, were wonderful.

My room was on the first floor which is actually the second floor. oh and they have an elovator which helped out since my mom cant get around as good as she used too. What a great view of the beach even though the road is in front of beach when you are inside the room all you see is ocean view, standing of course.but then you can go outside and sit on your rocking chair and enjoy the ocean and watch the waves roll in .its a great value for such a nice view.Plus the guys in the office were great...

great place to stay. Close to they shops and restaurants a walk to it all. Went with my service dog and they were very welcoming.

The rooms are excellent. You can save a lot by parking at the Foundry Place garage, two blocks away.
